Why Jesus came
It’s simple. Jesus came to save sinners.
1 Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
We have become so accustomed to the “What can Jesus do for me Gospel?” that we have forgotten the original plan and purpose for Jesus’ timely appearance in the Earth.
He came to save the lost, to set the captive free, to restore sight to the blind, to boldly proclaim the Jubilee Year of the Lord. He came for me. He came for you. He came because He loved the World. (more…)
The Wilderness
Dave Roever stopped in the middle of his message and said, I don’t know who this is for, but if it isn’t worth dying for then it’s not worth living for.” I knew who it was for. It was for me.
Earlier that morning during worship, I had knelt and told the Lord, “This isn’t worth dying for.” Let me explain. (more…)
